Medsys Claims Central
MEDSYS Claims Central is a centralized database containing PhilHealth claims uploaded by partner hospitals. With this, your claims department can easily determine how many days a PhilHealth member has stayed in other hospitals to check if they have reached their stay limit for the admitting diagnosis. They can also check if the Patient has a outstanding balances with other hospitals (optional). The objective of this is to help your hosptial reduce claim loss.
Sample walkthrough scenario:
1.> Patient is admitted in the hospital and presents their PhilHealth member number.
2.> Hospital staff will enter the member number in the ClaimsCentral program.
3.> Claim information is retrieved and displayed (if any).
4.> The hospitals claims for the day are automatically uploaded in the central database.
Requirements:
MEDSYS Hospital Information System
Connection to internet (open port 8444 in firewall)
Instructions:
1.> Download the program here download (72 kb) *
2.> After logging in, please click on "Update Program DB" once only
3.> Click on "List recent local claims" to view the claims on your database, you would see a list of claims with TranDate
4.> Enter the latest Transaction Date in the box (enter as format mm/dd/yyyy) and click on "Upload these claims"
5.> To search for claim information, enter the Member Number and click on Search.
6.> Leave program running, it will check for newly generated claims every 4 hours for upload
